Modern life means multiple calendars, and iCal makes it simple to deal with them. You can see your schedules for both work and home, color coded, from within a single window to let you identify conflicts and free time. You can look at your family’s calendars the same way, and publish your calendars for friends. Search globally for dates and times of upcoming events. • Manage and view more than one calendar at a time from within a single unified window to quickly identify schedule conflicts and pockets of free time
  • Share your calendars online with your colleagues, family and friends, using your .Mac account
  • Subscribe to other calendars to keep up with work schedules, family and school events, and more
  • Send standards-based email event invitations to people listed in your Mac OS X Address Book
  • Keep your priorities straight with built-in To Do list management

Apple iCal ReviewWhy Does Every Developer Wish to Sync To iCal? - Version: 2.0.5, 3/17/2007 02:41AM PST

iCal is one of the biggest messes a developer has ever created. It doesn't show the calendars I've imported and does very little else. AND, every developer out there wants to sync, import, or something to iCal, which doesn't work. MarketCircle, for instance, makes me import to iCal if I have any hope of extracting the DayLite information to use anywhere else. Well, DayLite is shakey and iCal is DOA. How the heck can you win? And iCal is not eye-candy to me. For a company that is touted for its machines, Apple sure does put out crappy software.

Apple iCal Troubleshooting ReportiCal 2.0.4 download not available - Version: 2.0.5, 3/2/2007 12:38PM PST

Version Tracker says that there is a version 2.0.4, which is later than my 2.0.3 for iCal. It however won't let me download the new version? I have a Macbook Pro. I see it is only available for OS X 10.4.8 - how do I check what OS X software is installed?

Apple iCal Troubleshooting ReportiCal not available? - Version: 2.0.5, 11/25/2006 02:10PM PST

The VT Pro program told me that I was running 2.0.3 (which I am) and said that 2.0.4 was available but the only link shown is for the Tiger upgrade. I checked my Software Updates option but it said I was up to date. What gives? Notification without a working link to get what is supposed to be available is of no use.
