A friend installed this onto his 15" imac, reboot, got a blinking question mark. After 2 days, it went back to Apple and was reported to have a bad logic board. Beware of this low level hack.

one thing, this hack is so low level, when I try to backup my entire hard drive to another (a bootable Firewire drive), it renders the backup unbootable. After an archive and install my backups work again. Not only that, I can't even use single user mode on the backup if I backed up a hard drive with this hack applied. And uninstalling it is not easy either. Only an archive-install or clean install of the operating system will do that.
