Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds - 1.1.1

I really love and and conquer games like Age of Empires so initially I was really excited to try out this game. The graphics are quite nice and the mix of unit types adds some interesting strategy choices. However, I soon realized that, at least against the computer AI, the Jedi are just way too powerful. All you do is build up your Jedi and your defenses, then build a huge army out of your opponent's units, and then roll to victory. The bounty hunters are meant to balance the Jedi but the AI, at least, doesn't use them enough to be successful. And anyway, you end up with a huge retinue of mind-controlled thralls to guard your Jedi. Age of Empires also has converting priests but they're at least easily killed and they also take much longer to make their conversions so you can take them out if you hurry. it got so easy and repetitive I lost interest in this game. :(

Other games have an end for me. Once I would conquer the various obstacles, the game would end. By that time, I was pretty ho-hum bored. End of story-poor entertainment value for me with other computer games.

I found that Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is so different that the run of the mill games. It is always logically challenging and provides hours of entertainment for me. The strategy is so awesome! Thanks for making a great game!
