I hear a lot of pops while I play DVD's, however if I bring the DVD player as the background application while playing the DVD I don't hear the pops. Also, when I click and I hear the alert sound, it is usually accompanied by a single pop. Someone mentioned earlier glitches, are you referring to the pops I hear as glitches? or is it something else. OS X DVD player doesn't have any pops, only when the alert sound plays, it is much better with Jaguar. Sometimes it forgets the configuration and I have to reset it again with either Operating System.

once running but it is full of glitches hope they update the drivers soon for some reason quake 3 crashes since i installed the m-audio pci revolution 7.1. has anyone else encountered this?

Sonica: In general a good device, but very unstable driver (always forgets its configuration) and absolutely no e-mail support from M-Audio.

review was premature. Sadly, I am experiencing the same glitches other are posting about. I also cannot record audio to any application via this card. Ridiculous.
Is there going to be a software update??
