HTML manual, and tried the first two scenarios. While the controls are understandable, this game has all the complexity of a classic, turn-based, hex-board war game, with none of the charm. Instead of intuitive counters representing armor or infantry, the ugly graphics are only a step above "Wumpus". There is no "line-of-sight"... you must be adjacent to discover the enemy or attack. This is exactly what the program should do for you! The "fog-of-war" is too thick! The scenarios are impossibly hard, even at the beginner level. You need at least a three-to-one advantage in troops to win an encounter, and you aren't given enough for a frontal assault. A flanking manuever leaves your troops too tired to attack. This game is just a load of frustrating non-sense! Note to Single Brain Cell: work on playability! Try and put some fun back into it. While you'll get no stars, I 'll give you an 'E' for effort. At least you intentions are good.
