Hide From Dock is a little utility that will enable a Hide menu item in your applications's Dock menus. Apple's Dock natively supports this feature, but its configuration file just tells it not to display it. While this looks fine if you don't use Dock menus a lot, it's a shame for multi-button mice users. Try it...

What's new in this version:

Hide From Dock now correctly adds a "Hide" menu item to the Finder's Dock Menu (previous users will have to hit the remove button, and then add the menu items again to benefit from this improvement).
Added Spanish localization.

I still recommend Hide From Dock for all Jaguar users.

In Panther there is a "Hide" function built in the Dock; hit the option key (alt) for "Hide Others"!
