Could some one please tell me if it's fine to download this version of cleardock on an intel?
It states it for 10.4 PPC.....if not has anyone heard of a new version coming out thats for intel

Installed on my new Intel Macbook, and logged out, then back in, and hey presto- no dock background. Great. The settings for it are in Application Enhancer which I already installed prior to this, so I am not sure if you need to have Application Enhancer already installed for this to work, as it is not mentioned anywhere.

but setting it up on a friend's new MacBook we were unable to get rid of the border?
Got rid of the coloured dock - but all attempts still left the border slightly visible?
Transparent dock gets rid of the lot - but isn't a UB?

I found this little gimmick quite incidentally. I like the clear dock much more than the original one! When my wife saw it, she went enthusiastic and wanted me to install it on her Mac too!
After installing I logged out / in, just as recommended by the installer, and cleardock works fine in 10.4.7. Many thanks to the developper!

how do i unistall it? I put cleardock.ape into the trash, and tried to trash it (since I want the default back) but it says cleardock is in use. what do I do to uninstall it?

this has to be the number one app that "apple should have included in their latest update"....no one wants the dock background ! ...apple - do us all a favour and get rid of the background in leopard !

It's been kind of mentioned below, but since this is one of my favorite little utilies that I immediately install on every Mac, I wanted people to know that ClearDock 1.4 definitely works on my new MacBook Intel, using 10.4.7. You just need to logout (our restart) in order to get it to work.
