Product Description:

A quick Cocoa port of the old "Small Screen" for the pre-X Mac OS. The old version simply drew borders on your screen representing smaller resolutions -- useful for web design to simulate how different viewers may see a page without the hassle of switching your own resolution. This version (by a different author) allows you to have multiple-moveable-resizeable screens open at a time (supports dual-monitors) along with other nifty features.
See the "Help..." menu for more info...

What's new in this version:

  • Added Presets as a menu item for screen sizes... still need to add more... give me feedback as to what presets you would like.

Resize corner is in the lower left part of the frame, which forces you to position it in the upper right corner and resize it from there. That is, in opposite of real screen resoultions which starts at upper left corner. Of corse, you can resize it frist and then move it, but it wouldn't it be great to make lower right resize corner (as it normally is in OS X)? I would also love to have a range of standard resolutions to choose from. Other than that it's a very nice idea and a swift alternative to resolution-changing.

awesome. I was a huge fan of the original Small Screen and was really missing it in OS X. I even got the original source code and was going to make an OS X version until I realized that I didn't know how to program in Pascal nor in OS X. :-) This program is invaluable if you develop web pages and it does exactly as promised.
