SmallScreenX ReviewGood idea, but... - Version: 2.2, 10/18/2006 02:41AM PST

Resize corner is in the lower left part of the frame, which forces you to position it in the upper right corner and resize it from there. That is, in opposite of real screen resoultions which starts at upper left corner. Of corse, you can resize it frist and then move it, but it wouldn't it be great to make lower right resize corner (as it normally is in OS X)? I would also love to have a range of standard resolutions to choose from. Other than that it's a very nice idea and a swift alternative to resolution-changing.

awesome. I was a huge fan of the original Small Screen and was really missing it in OS X. I even got the original source code and was going to make an OS X version until I realized that I didn't know how to program in Pascal nor in OS X. :-) This program is invaluable if you develop web pages and it does exactly as promised.

says, and does it well. If you don't design Web pages, you might not "get" what this does for you. Though changing my monitor resolution is easy, why do it if you don't have to.

small useful application that does exactly what it says it's supposed to do, it doesn't crash, it's free and the author is constantly improving it. I can't for the life of me see what Ook, who's contributed nothing useful to the reviews, is complaining about ... unless of course, Ook suffers from that strange malady of having no synapse between the neurons.

little app. I'm not sure why certain windows will not snap to the frame, but I can always drag them to the SSX frame if that doesn't work. For me, it's important to see how my web pages look at 800x600, but I prefer to keep my workspace at 1024x768. This app. alos helps me maintain the windows in my workspace the same across different machines on my network. It has many useful advantages in the post Neatnik age.

suspect, that it's not only that your "wee-wee that couldn't please an aphid.", but you should seriously look into having a brain CT scan to check for a "vacancy" in the cranium. . . This is a very nice app, and as cdscindy stated, quite useful for previewing web site pages at different resolutions.
