MacFLAC Usage TipUse xmms - Version: 2.1.1, 7/22/2003 08:26PM PST

The best player I've found for flac files is xmms, an open-source media player. You can easily get this with fink and run it through x11. Just be sure to install the flac plugin for xmms. Type "fink list xmms" in the terminal to see all the xmms related software available (assuming you have fink installed of course).

MacFLAC ReviewWhy can't iTunes play FLACs? - Version: 2.1.1, 7/16/2003 09:05AM PST

If it's open source why the hell can't iTunes play FLAC! They're way smaller than even SITXed AIFF files, without quality loss so I can really see this format going places. iTunes better add FLAC playback at some point.

VLC has problems playing FLACs. Try seeking. And MacAmp is deadware. I miss SoundApp.
