Product Description:

ody copies selected songs from your iPod playlists directly to your harddrive into a folder of your choic. iPody is an applescript for your iTunes script menu

For what?
Because I want a very simple solution without a lot of preferences and cute user interfaces.

NOTE: If you have thousends of tunes on your iPod the search for each file needs much longer.

Better try this one: Same Developer, other Name, but seems to be the later version of the same App:
search VersionTracker for "iPod playlist cloner - 1.2"

That's it, dont bother with this skript any more.

I like the idea of only selecting songs in the playlist. However, when I start the script it would copy less files than I selected, sometimes 2 of 3 (always the same two), in another case only 2 of 6. There where no special chars in the song id3-title (about the filename, i dont know).

Nice but needs some work, still.

It's very slow, but very useful and free. Takes a playlist and puts it in a folder. Great straightforeward tool.
