Product Description:

Have you ever wanted to find a file that is on a removable disk? Without knowing which disk it is on, you can not use 'Find File', as it needs the real disk to search. Alias Disk allows you to keep removable disks locally on your hard disk in the form of aliases to every file on that disk in the correct folder heirarchy.

it's free and uses osx built-in features. I ha d no real problems with alias disk, but it's inefficient for large libraries and misses a host of features.
