little tricky to set up for though of us old school mac people, but if you can read carefully, it isn't too painful and the end result is fantastic. I now use it on my OS X mail server and most of my clients have started dropping Entourage in favor of squirrelmail (go figure?!).

it to read mail from a Mac OS X server's IMAP accounts. SquirrelMail runs on my permanently-connected G4 at home. The only drawback is the installation: you have to read stuff :-) Works fine, no known security bugs with this version to date. Nicely configurable.
the current version is 1.4.15 (14 revision codes newer).
