Contacted Authorities? I doubt the developer is responsible for changes to ebay. As for his website, that is a shame. Though when you buy any software, there is no guarantee that it will be around forever, or even work for ever.

I have been a loyal user of this software for ages - it has been indespensible for managing ebay auctions. Now the site is closed, and there's a lot of disgruntled people (see comments below!)
It seems odd, as ther's nothing to touch Praeco (I'm using JBid Watcher, and it's not a patch on Praeco), so I wonder why development has stopped. I'm surprised the author hasn't posted a comment saying why he's shutting his site. I hope this isn't the case but maybe he's passed away, or something disasterous has happened to him.
In the meantime, if anyone knows how to write software, for goodness sake write something similar to Praeco and you'll clean up - there's nothing useful for managing and sniping ebay auction on OS X.

WARNING!
Praeco no longer works and the guy who made it, Travis Hicks, is not responding to emails. Today, he removed his Web site (try it, you get a bunk blank page).
He took our money and is now not supporting the product!
I have contacted the authorities in his home state and they say they are very serious about cracking down on this sort of thing. They say they will investigate and likely prosecute. Email me if you want to add your name to the complaint!
