Epson Stylus Color 1160 Usage TipThe importance of this driver... - Version: 1.2bA, 1/6/2005 02:19PM PST

is that, unlike all the early OS X drivers for other printers of the same era, Epson rewrote it to enable one very significant feature.
In the Color Management section they made it possible to select "NO Color Adjustment".
To achive good colour with Special ink and paper profiles you have to be able to over ride the Epson color management.
It's a small crumb of comfort in the Epson OS X interface which has to be the worst piece of software (with the worst 'hidden' feature interface), since Presto PageManager!

Epson Stylus Color 1160 ReviewGreat to see… - Version: 1.2bA, 10/25/2002 08:17AM PST

a an OSX driver for the 1160 but beware that it does not support Super A3 (A3+) or custom paper sizes, nor will it allow you to place an image centrally on a piece of paper despite the apparent facility to do so. Quite frustrating to have to print through Classic to achieve these options...
