authentic, non-refurbished Epson 1200 which worked fine in 9, sux in X. Half the time the driver cant connect to the printer, prints half pages, print queue doesn't know what the H is going on. Anybody want to buy a Stylus 1200? or trade?

reccommend that people dont buy Epson printers for these reasons: 1.The paper feed systems are badly designed, they become very unreliable after about 30 prints, this is a very big problem which makes the printer unsuable. 2.The printer drivers in Mac OS X are unreliable, they often lose communication with the printer during a print job. 3.The ink cartridges are very expensive to replace; approx $45 for a colour cartridge which, in real life, lasts for less than 10 A3 pages with about 60-70% coverage. 4.The cartridges also come as one unit and have to be replaced even if you have only run out of one colour. 5.The printers waste a lot of ink when they go through the cleaning cycle.

The Grinch
to print an 11 x 17 document in a super B page, and from every software there is, all I get is half the page, and in os9 it worked ok. Any Suggestions?
