From the developer: IC-Switch 1.3 had a bug that led it to crash in Jaguar (sorry about that!). The version 1.3.1 fixes that problem.

If you find that IC-Switch crashes when you attempt to access the preferences, simply trash the plist file, which may get corrupted when it is updated from the previous version's format, as mine was.

that does one thing, and one thing well. Excellent! My only request would be to make it a genuine menu bar item so that it can be reordered in the menu bar (yes, I know that can be tricky). Nice work though, especially since I switch browsers depending on my requirements (until Omniweb gets webcore, tabbed browsing, fixed Javascript and cascading style sheet support, that is).

should be a Pref Pane and the menu icon should be optional, IMHO. When will we be able to modify file types & extensions like in OS9. Not possible in X yet..?

JoeRHaQ comments. This should be part of the OS, menu is icing on the cake. All i can see that it needs is drag'n drop and the the ability to control-select from the menu to launch a app.
