Product Description:

IC-Switch is a freeware (Cocoa) helper utility for Internet Config (for Mac OS X only). It allows you to change your default emailer, Web browser, news and RSS readers and FTP client in one click, from an editable menu displayed in all applications.

IC-Switch was primarily aimed at developers and testers, but it's also useful to anyone who likes or needs to often switch Internet applications.

What's new in this version:

  • Addition of the RSS submenu (for the feed protocol).
  • More applications are detected when clicking on the magnifying glass button.
  • Other minor fixes and improvements

From the developer: IC-Switch 1.3 had a bug that led it to crash in Jaguar (sorry about that!). The version 1.3.1 fixes that problem.

If you find that IC-Switch crashes when you attempt to access the preferences, simply trash the plist file, which may get corrupted when it is updated from the previous version's format, as mine was.
