Product Description:

NewNOTEPAD Pro is highly functional replacement for Apple's Note Pad program. You can use it not only as a note pad but also as a diary or a scrapbook. Once you use it, you should make it your mainstay. In Japan it is the popular standard for notepad software. NewNOTEPAD Pro is much more easy to use than NewNOTEPAD II, but as fast as ever.

Improvements and Changes

Add "Paste Text Only" button on the button panel.
You can use Control-V for the short-cut "Paste Text Only". (Application Preference)

Fixed a rare crash when no item is in the note pane of the multi-pane mode.
Fixed a rare crash after diagnosing a note file.
Fixed a impossible to activate the note window when the window was selected by Expose.
Fixed a crash to switch the note window when the help tag was appeared.
Fixes a problem of displaying the seek error message when the group of search target is the top list.

Fixed a impossible to search the text in the editting note when specify the range of all note or inside a group.
On OS X 10.4, Fixed a problem of looking the text is lighten when it is entering or selecting.
Fixed a impossible to copy or cut the selecting text more than 32K bytes in a note.

$23 bucks a pop? That's half what I paid for iLife. For that kind of money I expect proper documentation (the UserGuide in the Documents (English) folder is in Japanese, and most of the rest of the materials are mangled translations.

I have been using this app for a long time and it generally works well, but would be much improved if it could sync its note files across multiple computers like StickyBrain can via .Mac. As for now, it's a real pain to have to sync the notes on my home computer and on my laptop manually.

I sent the developer an email asking if he was considering such a feature upgrade in the future but never got a response. :-(

Looks nice
takes down notes quickly
crashed after 30 miniutes (when closing down anyway)
I wil keep it for a while
