Product Description:

RC Helicopter Simulator is a radio-controlled helicopter simulator.

It is the one and only radio-controlled helicopter simulator for Macintosh users, at last!
It simulates the behavior and the control of real radio-controlled helicopters.
It is still under development and continues to be bit by bit improved.
For the moment the keyboard is used as radio-transmitter (default keys are "ZQDXOKM." keys on AZERTY keyboards and "WADXOK;," on QWERTY keyboards).
The simulator is configurable and will be bit by bit more configurable (control, behaviour, characteristics, helicopters, landscapes, ...).
You can use existing, modify or provide your own 3D models for the grounds, the skys and the helicopters.
You can use existing, modify or provide your own physical parameter files for the grounds, the helicopters and the transmitters.
You can use existing, modify or provide your own engine sound files for the helicopters.
A free and growing library of new helicopters and landscapes is available on our website.
It takes very little memory and disk space.
It doesn't need any installation nor configuration, which makes it very easy to use.

What's new in this version:

A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with Jaguar.
The 3D engine has been improved.
The Vertol draft helicopter has been added in the library of draft helicopters.
The documentation teaching how to build your own grounds has been written.
The documentation teaching how to build your own skys has been written.
The documentation teaching how to build your own helicopters has been written.
The documentation teaching how to build your own transmiters has been written.

Downloaded and started OK. Here's a quickstart:
- Keep the "W" key pressed to take off.
- As long as you keep the "W" key pressed the main rotor throttle and pitch increases, which lifts the helicopter.
- Keep the "X" key pressed to decrease the main rotor throttle and pitch in order to land.
- Use the "A" and "D" keys to rotate the helicopter.
- Use the "K", ";", "O" and "," keys to tilt the helicopter.
