Product Description:

With the Citrix ICA Client for Macintosh, local and remote users can access any Windows-based application running on the server. All the user needs is a low-bandwidth connection (21kilobytes) and the ICA client, which is downloadable free from the Citrix web site. The IT Manager must have Citrix WinFrame or MetaFrame products installed at the server.

What's new in this version:

Starting the Client for Macintosh from the Web Interface using Safari. Provided you are using Mac OS X Version 10.4 or later, you can now start the client from the Web Interface when using the Safari Web browser. When you install the client, a dialog box appears towards the end of the installation process, asking your permission to modify "a system setting". To be able to start the client from the Web Interface, click Yes. The modification is then made and the dialog box does not appear again. If you do not grant permission, the dialog box appears in the client and the editor at startup time. If you do not want to make the modification and you do not want to see this dialog box again, select the Don't show this message again check box. If you change your mind at a later stage and want to make the modification, you can access the dialog box from the Editor by selecting Options > Safari Browser Compatibility.... Note that if the server you connect to is running Web Interface for MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 or 4.0, the Client for Java is automatically started when Safari is used, whether or not you make the modification described above. For instructions on how to resolve the issue in this case, see the Citrix knowledge base article CTX104367 (Using the Safari Browser with Web Interface).
