What's new in this version:

This version contains compatibility updates for OSX 10.2.7, Panther and G5 Macs. Installer contains a version 1.2.1 driver update for the MOTU 828, 896 828mk2, 896HD and Traveler. The install also provides the MIDI Drivers (828mk2 and Traveler), Firewire Cuemix Console, and the Firewire SMPTE Console. New Cuemix console supports external control surfaces, talkback & listenback capabilities, and I/O port names under Panther.

Kernal Panic w/ 828 on 10.5.1 - Version: 1.4.5, 11/17/2007 08:28PM PST

As soon as I installed v1.4.5 and launced my MOTU828 original I got a kernel panic. Restarted—same thing. Only happens when FW interface is launched. The previous version (1.3.9?) worked with the same config.

MBP 2.4GHz/4GB/MOTU 828.

Curious if anyone else is seeing same behavior.

Kernal Panic w/ 828 on 10.5.1

I've succeeded installing version 1.4 on my PowerBook, but it never worked on my G5 ! It gets stuck on searching the hard drive and never starts installing... Too bad as I have problems (with the precedent version and since Tiger) to get sound out of the 828mk2 when I wish to listen to anything coming from the Mac (iTunes, navigators, etc.) ; however sound comes out when I use Cubase !? Very strange... I hope MOTU gives a correct update soon.

Seems like v.1.3 is already out on the MOTU site, for Firewire drivers. Wonder why Versiontracker has not list it yet !?
