you won't get the mp3-file from your iPod. Try it. It's a copy protection. With this tool you'll get the file.

to play your mp3s from your iPod through iTunes, just set the sync to "manual" and you'll have full access to managing, deleting and playing the files on the iPod directly.

Strongblade!
My iPod cannot play while connected to my computer. So I have no idea what use this would be. (or how it would work) unless it allows me to play music off my iPod while it's connected to the computer...
