It does not seem to save custom .htaccess files. And if you mofidy them with an text editor next time you open Weblock it overwrites the custom files.
I'm trying to add folder specific error documents (file not found, not authorized, etc.)

the automated version checking feature, which can be disabled from the Options panel. The only information discernable from this communication, which uses a single HTTP request, is IP address and Weblock version. eobanb: It has not been tested with Apache 2, but most features should work fine. Please feel free to alert me to any exceptions.

a nice piece of software, but WHY does it 'phone home'? Little Snitch reports that this ware phones home to a an obscure attbi address. Would the authors care to elaborate?

Weblock 1.5: sheets sometimes reappear behind the window after being dismissed, .htaccess files are missing the word Weblock in the first line. These bugs will be fixed in the next version. You can fix them yourself in just a couple easy steps. Email me for directions: weblock@digicow.net
