Product Description:

The Ultimate Alarm Clock (UAC for short) is an answer to those who don't like to have to leave an alarm running in order to be reminded. It is designed to save screen space, and be as annoying as possible. It's features include:

Runs entirely in the background, minimizing memory usage and screen real estate.
Once set, always set. Doesn't need to be relaunched every time you login.
Can launch any file on your computer.
Includes an egg-timer
Plays MP3s in a loop, so you're sure to hear them eventually.
Customize which days of the week an alarm will trigger on.
Plays folders, or collections of MP3s/MPGs.
Plays Apple-Scripts natively.
Can play a random song via iTunes (iTunes 2.1 or later required).
Preferences allow you to push your speaker to the limit, or warn you when you miss a rarely-occuring alarm (someone's birthday, for instance).
Use a password to protect your alarms from premature dismissal.
Two priorities available for any alarm, which make an alarm even more eye-catching.
Customizable snooze timer.
Behavior control over MP3/M4A/MPG playback.
Uses the Services system to create alarms from selected text in any running application.
Bandwidth-friendly; even at a 14.4k connection, should download in less than 10 minutes.
Pre-Jaguar version available on my website.

This version adds seamless chronometer/timer capabilities, and generally makes the stop watch window more robust.

This is probably the worst alarm clock I've ever tried to use. On launching it set up an unstoppable, constantly repeating alarm for something or other, which could only be stopped by searching for and deleting the files the app had dumped in my Library folder. (Presumably killall would have stopped it too but this is meant to be friendly GUI territory.)
I was interested because of a feature not necessitating input to stop the alarm (i.e. I want something that will speak text without popping up an irritating dialogue box to click) - no luck here.

Also note that it seems to be made up of at least five separate programs, which don't seem to do much other than launch each other.

maybe it could also add the alarms to Palm or Cell Phone? Then you could get alarm when you're out. Or even page you, or call you...
