X-Tunes Troubleshooting ReportX-Tunes not getting along with cursor - Version: 1.2.6, 4/29/2006 07:48PM PST

I'm running 10.3.9 on a PowerBook G4. When I activate the X-Tunes interface my cursor does not move correctly. I also have to release my key combination (mine is alt+space) in order for the control I click to work. Help Pol!

Oh, Pol, I tried to send you an e-mail, but is bounced back.

X-Tunes CommentaryX-Tunes still strong and working (could use an update though) - Version: 1.2.6, 1/26/2006 11:05AM PST

ShadowBottle
X-Tunes still works fine, but the peops at apple defaulted spotlight to activate with cmd+space... so you just need to redifine spot light to something else. The thing that -is- broken in X-Tunes is the ability to change its keyboard shortcut to anything other than the aforementioned keyboard shortcut.
But with that small adjustment... still works great in 10.4.4.

X-Tunes CommentaryStopped working - Version: 1.2.6, 11/4/2005 02:13PM PST

I'm curious that a lot of people still seem to be using this, because it stopped working for me back at OS 10.3. Are all of you still using 10.2, or is it working in 10.3 or 10.4?

I used to totally love this app. but it hasn't worked properly in a long time. :.(

It's just so easy to use, so simple and yet stylish at the same time. Very OSX-ish. Very useful. Very good. (And very FREE!)

I can't use a Mac without it now!

X-Tunes Usage TipRating Songs - Version: 1.2.6, 10/1/2005 06:26PM PST

I'm loving this, but have three minor beefs:
1) Spotlight now uses Apple + Space, so you may want to change the default shortcut
2) The mostly aethetic problem of the play not turning into a pause button
3) WHY CAN'T I RATE TRACKS WITH THIS!! I find it most annoying that I have to open iTunes/use the dock icon if I want to change my ratings.. shouldn't be too hard to implement and I would love you forever ^^
But besides that I'm loving this, esp. because its free!
