Alfred CommentaryIndispensable - Version: 1.6.2, 9/14/2005 07:13PM PST

This app is completely indispensible! Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for OS 10.4, so out of the box it doesn't manage Dashboard Widgets or Spotlight (for example).

Fortunately, it is very flexible and customisable. After I got 10.4 it only took a minute or two to add both of those to Alfred. In other words, the program is well enough designed that the fact that it hasn't been updated is a nonissue. Great program.

That being said, if the author would just add these once, all the individual users wouldn't have to.

Alfred CommentaryGreat, but... - Version: 1.6.1, 8/6/2003 02:32AM PST

This is a great little utility, except for one glaring flaw! When you click on a component you get a fair bit of info (date created, modified etc) but the most useful information - version string - is NOT displayed. Why?
