Beside using this app as intended, I use it as a photo editor, I look at my images in the Image Full Screen mode, on my 20 inch monitor I can really tell if the image is worth keeping or not. With ease I roll through a folder full of photos. I love it.
Give it a try. Someone mentioned in an other review that it does not work on multi platform. It does, on my Mac I created a Window version of the slideshow and it worked perfectly on the PC. This app does well what it does.

Handy little slide show app. Easy to use, straight forward. I really liked being able to save the slide shows. I do wish, however, that the user had the ability to skip to the next slide or go back to a previous slide while in automatic mode. That's a must that will prevent me from purchasing it until it has that ability. I also wish it integrated with my iTunes library when selecting music for the soundtrack. Promising app. I'll stay tuned for the next release.

iPhoto stores all photos in the "Photo Library" that are in the individual files/slide shows. I didn't want to folks to happen across certain photos by accidently looking in the Photo Library. This problem has been eliminated with Apimac Slide Show by setting up the library elsewhere. plus has all the features of iPhoto I use, sound slide editing etc
It Works great now

It works great now the PC standalone issues are fixed. Handy little app if you want simple cross platform slideshows to burn into CD's for portfolio's etc...with the minumum of fuss.
It saves messing around with more complicated apps when you havent got the time.

GravitonOne: Next version will let you browse through PC stand-alone presentations, the manual presentation mode works fine in Mac. It will be released in next days. Thanks for your patience. Fuller details at <support@apimac.com>.

I bought this product because it says "Create slide show presentations for Mac and Windows PC". It doesnt. I really needed a good, easy to use slideshow for Mac & PC, I payed for the pro edition & The slideshows for PC's do not work (not even basic, simple click for next slide slideshows).
I feel Ive been robbed as they do not seem to be bothered about fixing this & they are touting it as a product feature.
Is this criminal?

program under OS 9, but the OS X version is not working correctly for me. I use this to display images during my lectures and this version is NOT getting all of the images in a directory, whether I try to add just the folder or the individual files. The OS 9 version works fine on the same folders/files. The OS X version is pretty useless for me at this point.
If this app supported more color management features and the abbility to get captions from the embeded caption field from IPTC and auto display them in the show every photographer would buy a copy if not two.
