I'm impressed that this old driver simply installed and worked. The P400 is an amazing printer and this driver produces remarkable results for me under 10.5.7. I don't know what the previous reviewer's problem was, but I can report this driver works under the current version of Mac OS X.

I love my P-400 printer, but the drivers (and the technical support) from Olympus are absolutely worthless. I have to use this printer on my Windows XP computer because the drivers are so bad on Mac OS X ... and now I'm forced to use XP because they won't update their drivers to the newer versions of OS X like Panther or Tiger. Even when the drivers did work on the older OS you had very little control over the print and it was a non-standardized interface ... these drivers are unlike any other printer driver out there for OS X .... did I mention they suck real bad?

I was looking at this printer, but nobody can confirm MacOS X 10.3 compatibility... Olympus still says "MacOS 8.5 and 9" on their web site.
Any confirmation would be appreciated?
