Product Description:

MacNavAid is a navigation aid. It's a simple program to give you heading and distance between two positions on the Earth's surface. It will also give you Lat/Lon if you give it a starting point, a heading and a distance. MacNavAid is a program I wrote to learn Cocoa and test the formulae I need to write a much larger project, a flight planner. If you have any suggestions for the flight planner project or any feedback on this one then email me.

What's new in this version:

  • Name change (was MacNav) due to trademark issue
  • Fixed a bug with the heading slider not updating
  • Added the option to use other measures of distance (nautical miles, statute miles, kilometers, feet, meters) and before you ask, feet was a user request!
