Can't find timidity.cfg - Version: 2.11.3r1, 11/13/2006 06:59PM PST

timidity doesn't work right after installing. It complains with an error message:
/usr/share/timidity/timidity.cfg: No such file or directory
timidity: Can't read any configuration file.
Is the installer supposed to provide this file?

This might not be obvious... The program will only recognize files with the proper filename extensions, even if they are proper MOD/S3M/whatever files.

This isn't obvious, and it's not noted in the installation instructions (at least not that I noticed): The software is installed in "/usr/local/bin".
Otherwise, incredible product. Converted a large collection in a flash with "/usr/local/bin/timidity *".

problems, but once the program was located it converted all of my mod, s3m, and xm files. iTunes reports their length as several hours instead of minutes, but it doesn't appear to affect their playback. Only thing that would be nice is if it could generate a text file with any song name or composer information, to mke it easier to label the files in iTunes. Sounds good.
