Spinning Beach Ball Hell

Well, I have mlDonkey up and running, and when I click on any button from this app I get spinning beach ball until I have to kill it. Third time I have tried mldonkey without any luck. I recommend sticking with Direct Connect, the best P2P client for OS X.

what seems to be version 0.26 of CocoDonkey at http://homepage.mac.com/michelmoreau/ (click on "Mldonkey tools and extra" then on "Graphical interfaces"). I haven't tested it yet though. If you have trouble with mldonkey, delete all *.tmp files, file_sources.ini and file_sources.ini.old ; it always worked for me. Sometimes files will go above 100% completion and never complete so I run a chunck verification (from the web interface) to fix the size.

to work, but now a file I'm trying to download has stalled for two days now. Is this normal?
