The N Do
I will keep this short and sweet:
This software and company is bogus. Don't try to send any more than a few dozen emails at a time with MailDrop 2.0b12 - otherwise it will crash.
Practically no documentation. Zero support.
Don't bother trying to contact them, they will not respond.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Hello,
I have posted an Email to the new company holder Mr. Don Yacktman on June, 2006. I have requested a full refund of my purchase of Maildrop 2.0 due to the fact that the development of Maildrop 2.0 has stalled since their latest beta release dated as of 3/21/05.
I have not received any feedback at all from this company since my latest message. My emails seem to be ignored or rejected. In clear words, as a "former" customer of Freshly Squeezed Software and the company holder Yacktman Enterprises Inc., I have spent a total amount of 55.66 EUR (Tax included) in the hope to receive a final release of their product.
Unbelievable, this copmany should be taken out of business.
Shame to Mr. Don Yacktman and the former company holder Erik J. Barzeski for bluffing their customers.

Fraudulent behaviour - Version: 2.0b12, 6/30/2006 01:46AM PST

Hello,
I have purchased a single user-license for $59 + VAT on January, 17th 2005 in the belief to receive a final and stable version after its further development.
The former owner of the company Mr. Erik Barzeski ("The so-called Geek" - www.barzeski.com) informed me after request that the company was taken over by the company "Illumine X" (www.illumineX.com).
I have received an email from Mr. Don Yacktman from "Illumine X" on August, 18 2005. He informed me that the ongoing development of the Maildrop application stalled "a little bit" as he mentioned in his email. They planned to make a final release by the end of 2005.
A co-worker from "Illumine X" told me in one recent email reply that the company "Freshly Squeezed Software" was sold to Don Yacktman on December 1, 2005.
Since that time, I have posted several emails to the product support and received no further statement from Mr. Don Yacktman.
1)
This is a very bad and disrespectful behaviour to sell a software for a 20% discount and making customers believe they will receive a final release within the next 4 weeks after purchase.
2)
As a valued customer, it is not MY job to find out the new company holder after the software company was sold. It is up to the former and new company and their respective executive officers and managers to inform THEIR customers about company and software related matters.
I wrote Mr. Don Yacktman another Email on June, 22 2006 and informed the company holder that I wish to have the full amount of my purchase transfered back to my bank account since I do not accept their fraudulent behaviour.
I have not received any statement until today.

This software isn't suitable for use professionally. It has a nice idea but some things such as time limiting emails doesn't work properly, it sendds a whole bunch of email at once at the specified time which is just pointless, it should be spacing them out!
and I've never once seen the thing actually finish, it always crashes towards the end.
If you rely on email for your business KEEP AWAY from this one!

Can you give a 'no stars' rating? This program is unusable. There is no fidelity with the data entered and it crashes repeatedly. I regret registering this product.

Bad product from bad company.
I won't go near any of their products.
Totally unprofessional, After I've paid $59 for this useless version which ruined my e-mail campign, I emailed them many times to request a number for the previeous version, they won't even return emails, YUK!.
Don't loose you money like the rest of us.

I have to agree with some of the comments in this discussion board this software is really buggy and sometime emails contain errors.
It's time the company spend more efforts on fixing the current problems than include more features

Ok Guys, isn't about time to fix the bugs and get the product out of beta.
If your tired of the product, then tell us all who are waiting for you to fix it.

Way too buggy to be used

It's a shame because this could be a really great product. Unfortunately, it appears to have been abandoned in beta. It produces HTML mail with errors resulting in unreadable messages and bad links. You can't send email out like that to large numbers.
It also crashes quite often and fails in sending messages.
Email to the vendor came back with a response along the lines of "it's beta, what did you expect?" Well, it's the 12th beta release of a 2.0 product I would expect some sort of usability if they're charging for it. Also, I would expect some sort of realistic time-line for completion. More importantly, I would expect them to want feedback about how to recreate bugs, instead they denied they existed.
If they ever get around to fixing this software, it could be incredibly awesome, but for now, I would recommend staying away.
