I found the Twain-Sane too. I downloaded the "binary" packages. That scanner thing didn't work but it scans just fine in PhotoShop & Word in OS 10.3.7. The other app "Scanner 1220U" works great, and scans to preview. I was just about to toss this UMAX 1220U and get an Epson 4180 cause Umax left us all hanging in the wind. I'm still getting the Epson, but at least I can scan until then.

I just saw this yesterday on Slashdot. These twain drivers are supposed to support my Umax and probably many others: TWAIN-SANE

this puppy works well with MacOSX 10.2.6 and Photoshop 7 on G3. Thank you for restoring UMAX SCSI Scanner functionality under MacOSX :-)
