welcome--2008
... if you think you can use this product without sweat and tears. The docs are only there to make you go crazy from the very start. Simply installing the thing in order to test it is a challenge by itself (unless you're a Unix geek of course). Instead of just telling you what's required and how to install, they make you go back and forth for hours and in the end it doesn't work anyway. I'll stick to CocoaMysql.

We've been using the rc1 version of 2.11.4 for some time and find it solid and lacking the GUI issues reported earlier. It and CocoaMySQL remain the two simpliest mysql access solutions for our servers. No problems noted to date.
The truth is that if you are at all familiar with PHP and SQL this is a breeze to set up. It requires rock bottom beginner level understanding of both to setup and even less to use. It works very well and improves greatly with each version. phpMyAdmin is used by tons of web hosts because it is so easy to use.
I highly recommend it.
