Product Description:

tn3270 allows a Macintosh computer with a TCP/IP network connection to emulate an IBM 3270 terminal. Features of the emulation include color, extended highlighting, APL/TEXT character set support, and both standard and custom screen sizes. tn3270 also supports file transfer as part of a terminal session when IBM VM/CMS is being used on the host computer.

Although primarily a 3270 emulation program, tn3270 also supports line mode telnet connections. This support allows tn3270 to operate with hosts which establish a line mode connection before entering 3270 mode, as well as with line mode only (regular telnet) hosts. When operating in line mode, tn3270 emulates a DEC VT52 terminal.

What's new in this version:

SSL/TLS support for secure connections
Support for the standard "Get URL" Apple Event. This allows tn3270 X to be used as a helper application for "tn3270://" and "telnet://" URLs.
Support for additional fonts and sizes besides the built-in ones
Printing and other bug fixes. See the release notes for a list of all changes.

When I saw there this terminal emulator come through the VT RSS feed I was so happy that I had finally found an RS232 terminal emulator... then I realized I hadn't. Are there ANY terminal emulators that support RS232?? I need this for debugging hardware at work and I'm sick of using windows for it.

I love my mac and i HAVE to access the mainframe. This app is small, clean and functional. Kudos to Peter for the effort.
