shadowIP is a shareware IP monitoring utility for Mac OS X. shadowIP was written in cocoa and is 100% OS X native. shadowIP lets you view all IP addresses of your Mac on your desktop or in a floating window. No cluttered desktop! shadowIP even lets you configure which IP addresses to show and which not, and it lets you customize the color of the text it uses. shadowIP offers the ability to run in Faceless Mode, meaning it won't show up in the dock. shadowIP also offers to show the computer's name, as set in the Sharing Preferences.

I like the abilty to be able to customize the Desktop Item, particularly font size. One improvement… I'd like to see the same customization abilty for the Status Item. The default font size in the Menubar is huge.

OK, I like the product. I use "MyIP" but it is an application that I have to locate and launch, and since fruit menu is not Panther certified at the moment it is extra work. This application does what it says and does it with the flexability that will work for anyone's preferences; desktop, menu item, etc.. Great Job.

Now to pick on the website...Nice job on recreating [read ripping off] Apple's site. I am getting a little tired of developers blatently copying Apple's website for selling their products. OK, we get it...you develop software for the mac platform, now hire a web developer or use some of that creativity and come up with something new. You copied someone's idea with the product, but did a fantastic job in making it much better...don't rip off Apple's web site.
