Product Description:

This utility adds cyrillic keyboards layout to MAC OS X 10.1.x and does not inject other patches into system. It is intended for users which minimum support of cyrillics is necessary. Adds keyboards: US-Russian (Rus/Lat switched by CapsLock), Russian-QWERTY (Russian phonetic keyboard), Russisch (Russian phonetic keyboard for Germany), Bulgarian-QWERTY (Bulgarian phonetic keyboard), Us-Bulgarian qwerty (Bulgarian phonetic keyboard whith Bulg/Lat Switched by CapsLock), Lviv (Ukrainian phonetic keyboard), Macedonian and Serbian.

I went ahead and tried it with Panther - works fine. Now if the spell checker (ruSPELL, advertized on www.apple.ru) will finally be released, I will be all set. But that's another story :)

CyrillixLite works fine. My girlfriend uses it to correspond with friends, family and colleagues back in Bulgaria and it works well for her. I read a little (very little) Bulgarian and prefer seeing cyrillic characters rather than phonetic writing using Roman characters.

One rather annoying problem is that it does seem to generate garbage characters in Mail and Safari (Jaguar and Panther) from time to time. If I quit and relaunch, the problem goes away.

I'd like to uninstall it and l try some alternatives, is there an easy way?
