Product Description:

Life Balance is award winning coaching software that provides a dynamically ordered To Do List driven by the importance of your goals, your desired allocation of time and effort, and feedback from what you get done each day.

Feature Highlights:

  • Dynamic To Do List keeps important tasks sorted towards the top.
  • Feedback from the Balance section increases the priority of tasks that you have been neglecting.
  • Easy Drag and Drop scheduling for posting tasks to the Life Balance Calendar.
  • Flexible scheduling supports traditional calendar entries, or more loosely defined "Routine" patterns.
  • Automatic Update reorders your To Do List as you check off tasks.
  • Personalize your Life Balance environment by dragging your favorite pictures into the balance pie charts as motivational "pie filling."
  • Assign tasks to places with hours when they are open for business.
  • Support for included places simplifies errands.
  • Multiple level Undo and Redo.
  • Includes Life Balance Conduit for easy data entry to the Palm Mobile Edition (sold separately).
  • Reconciliation interface for the conduit gives you control over what changes to keep from the Handheld or the Desktop.

....and much more!

What's new in this version:

Note: This is an automatic free upgrade for users with existing Macintosh 3.x license codes.
  • Task notes are now appended to DayNotez entries.
  • Actual completion time is now recorded in DayNotez for all types of tasks.
  • Tasks that are completed on the desktop will now be recorded in DayNotez at the next HotSync, if the export to DayNotez option is enabled on the Palm.
  • Added tooltips for proxy icons and links icons.
  • Added tooltips for Pie slices.
  • “Del” is now the shortcut for deleting objects, but only when not editing text.
  • Added Note indicators to Outline, To Do List and Accomplishments. Clicking icon will display corresponding Note box.
  • Clicking Due Date in Outline or To Do List will display corresponding Time tab.
  • Changed conduit priority so that it will run before most other conduits.
  • Added weekday labels to month calendar.
  • Updated Help to include new features and more detail on HotSync.
  • Fixed a bug in the conduit involving deleting tasks and modifying the associated appointments.
  • Fixed a bug in the conduit involving deleting places that were synced to more than one desktop file. This could cause previously deleted places to suddenly reappear.
  • The "Delete Task" menu item would sometimes not work, depending on where the keyboard focus was.
  • The conduit now loads properly under Mac OS 9.0, without having to upgrade to 9.1.
  • The conduit now properly reverts to default HotSync settings after executing a one-time setting.
  • Fixed keyboard focus problems on Macintosh.
  • Fixed pie chart percent tool tips to round rather than truncate.
  • Fixed conduit bug where next scheduled time would be set to 1/1/2020 when the last occurrence of a task had been completed and there was a DateBk4/5 template present on the Palm.
  • Fixed bug on Mac where scrollbars disappeared if Outline was too long.
  • Fixed bug on Mac where some tasks would disappear from the Outline if the Outline was too long.
  • Fixed inconsistent handling of credits between Palm and Desktop in certain cases. NOTE: This may cause the slices in your Actual pie chart to change on the desktop when you upgrade to version 3.1.1.
  • Performing a "Desktop overwrites Handheld" or "Handheld overwrites Desktop" HotSync should now produce a matching Actual pie chart on the destination device.

Life Balance ReviewUnqualified recommendation! - Version: 3.2.3, 1/15/2004 08:39PM PST

While the interface of this app could use a little improvement, it's functionality FAR outweighs any drawbacks it may have. LifeBalance is, plainly, a phenomenal application that has made a huge difference in my life. It's both elegant and ingenious, and the first time I've used a PDA-genre app and really felt like there was an "Assistant" involved! Well worth buying a license, in my book.
