Product Description:

Silk enables the Quartz text rendering and smoothing introduced in Mac OS X 10.1.5 in all Carbon applications. This means antialiased text in Internet Explorer, Eudora, and many others. Why wait for developers to update their Carbon applications when you can get the silky smooth text everywhere, right now? With version 2.0, Silk can substitute one font with another in your applications, and change the theme font (the font used to display menus, window titles, and other interface elements).

What's new in this version:

• Fixes a crash that could occur if Font Replacement was checked but no fonts were in the table;
• Fixes a crash that could occur if an application loaded the objective c runtime but not Cocoa (Intaglio);
• Respects the APE Manager's exclude list. An application listed in this will not have Silk loaded in any way for it. This includes any tests it may run;
• Added Unsanity Crash Guard. Heaven forbid Silk causes a crash, but if it does it will not load in the Finder, Console, SUIS, or the Dock after a crash to prevent an infinite loop of crashing. Y'all know what I mean;
• Holding down shift while launching an application will disable silk for that application for that launch. The only way to reenable Silk is to quit and relaunch the application. If you think this is too Mac OS 9 like, just hold down control and shift instead;
• Holding down the control and the command keys while launching an application will enable logging for that application for that launch. The only way to disable logging is to quit and relaunch the application;
• Keys must be held down until the application's menu bar appears;
• Other bug fixes;

Unsanity has chosen to jump ship, and leave their loyal customer base screwed. DO NOT waste your money donating or buying a license as all you will be doing is throwing your money away. I deleted all my Unsanity haxies. Never again with Unsanity.
