Additionally, with enhanced presence features, co-workers can quickly see each other's availability to communicate.
For personal use, Mac users can instantly communicate with friends, family and associates sharing files and gathering feedback. The free download delivers new support for Mac OS X Bonjour instant networking technology, a new contact list search tool, and the ability to give contacts a nickname for easy recognition, even when their screen name changes.

apparently its built-in but only for corporate use, or something... tried to do it in personal mode and it locked up, (I had to find the command vie the Help menu)

it looks very 6ish to me... NO VIDEO! yet..

Talk about crap. I've used MS Messenger for years, and always found it to be a simple, reliable and trouble-free program. So when the new version (7.0) came out, I didn't hesitate to download it. After walking through the set-up procedure, it work just like every other version -- except now every time I quit it, I have to go through the set-up procedure all over again next time I want to use it. After the third time, I just deleted the new version and hauled the old one out of the trash. I can only assume the Softies are trying to exact their revenge on the Mac community -- there's no other excuse for releasing anything this buggy. Even for free, it's overpriced.

A whole version number jump and this is what we get ???? Pathetic !!! This should be more like 6.0.4 at best....
Who uses this trash anyway anymore when there's adium and aMSN with far better features....
