VersionTracker should remove this software. It doesn't work and the site is not accessible....J. Schoke

If I go to the search engine and enter the word "Beatles" in the artist field and choose "Contains" I get no results. If I do the same thing and choose "is" I get a lot of results. If I enter "The Beatles" and choose contains I get a few listings. When I go to Lyrictracker.com instead of using the LyricTracker software and enter Beatles in the Artist field I get a lot of listings.
If I use the Lyrictracker software and enter "I shuold have known better" in the "song text contains" field, I get a song by the Eurythmics and one by the Backsteet Boys, but no Beatles. If I do the same thing at their website (lyrictracker.com) I get one listing by the Beatles, and none by the Eurythmics or Backstreet Boys.
It sounds to me that the data base, the search engines or both are screwed up.
Since there are problems with searching with both the web site and the software, you might as well save your money and just use the site since it is free.
Also, after buying the software, I discovered that there is absolutely no documentation that comes with it. There were a few things that confused me so I wrote an email to LyricTracker and asked some questions. I stated I was frustrated by the lack of documentationand. I got a reply implying I was stupid.

Eventually, this might...

Gene van Troyer...be more useful. The Search function is a little odd: When I entered specific info for Artist, Song Title, and Album under the "is" delimiter (Rober Plant, 29 Palms, Timbuktu), it gave met hits for about 50 files, not one of which by the artist. Just search for Robert Plant drew a blank. The search engine is maybe a little indiscriminate.
Second, the Search function should have a hit-counter--that is, "O Recods found" and so on.
