Product Description:

gps3d lets you navigate a 3D textured-map model of the earth.
You can point at various area of the planet and get it to download maps from the internet and "stick" them onto the 3D model.
It can also connect to a GPS receiver unit and display trips, current position, and satellite trajectories.
Finally, it lets you measure distances on the earthe's surface

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a win32 port issue
  • Added support for downloading waypoints from an internet server based on map brush

Perhaps I've missed something but as it contains little help! All I can see is a blurry map of the world. Pressing 'G' gets an advert for Sony Ericson and some overprinted text. Has anybody got it to work? How did it get 5 stars?

everytime I hit "enter" the program crashes. How do you get the detailed map? I can't figure out how to download it?
