ADGate is an Internet/Web utility for MacOSX for removing unwanted popup window, images, Flash and text in HTML by URLs and blocking unwanted hosts, all with easy to use pattern matches.

What's new in this version:

  • New feature: Japanese localization thanks to Yoshiki Hiraki
  • Improvement: Intensive tests on MacOS 10.1.x and MacOS 10.2.x
  • Bug fix: Kernel panic in link blocking in some cases

Avoid this developer and his products. The software is buggy. He imposes ridiculous licensing restrictions for little shareware applications and provides no customer service or support. It's really not worth the trouble.

I appreciate the author's vigorous and knowlegeable support of this app. Despite some *tiny* bugs, it works remarkably well and is well worth the price.
