Product Description:

KoalaCalc is one of the most advanced multi-purpose calculators available for Mac OS X. Advanced features can be hidden making it simple to use while using minimal desktop space. The list of features includes:

Numerous advanced mathematical functions incuding trig and log plus 10 individual memory banks
Conversion to and from dozens of units (inches to millimeters, pounds to kilograms, etc.)
Basic statistical calculations on up to 10 data sets including t-tests and ANOVAs
Virtual tape print-out for input verification/record keeping
Probability calculator computes exact p value based on the F distribution, with or without epsilon correction
Most buttons including advanced scientific functions include keyboard shortcuts - a real time saver
Help on how to use each button is provided by simply leaving the mouse cursor over a button for a few seconds
User can set various preferences
Advanced features can be hidden to reduce the size of the footprint

What's new in this version:

Fixes a bug which caused an intermittent crash upon quit on systems running Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar)

I have been looking for and testing every calculator I could find. I almost purchased PCalc, but searched one more just for the heck of it. AM I HAPPY I DID! KoalaCalc is the best I have found, and it is FREE. But, if you like it, consider sending them a donation from the link on their site. I think they deserve something for providing a great application.

Unzips generic document instead of application - Version: 4.3.1, 4/10/2007 06:58PM PST

Downloaded and unzipped successfully twice. Both times it makes a generic document of 1.1 MB instead of an application. System cannot open it: "Choose an application to open Koalacalc".
