Product Description:

Alepin is a clean and simple implementation of a Notepad & Scrapbook for Mac OS X. It offers some nifty features like importing from the Classic Note Pad, Scrapbook (images only), Stickies X or nested folders of text files, RTFD Export, multi-page documents, Auto-open of a specific file, auto-save, QuickFind, sorting and naming using the Categories drawer and rapid navigation through all pages using the slider. If also copies graphics to Carbon apps, which TextEdit cannot do well. It is available in French as well. Plus, it now supports encryption!

What's new in this version:

Drag and drop of pages between documents now works (better still)
Remembers position of drawer even if extended
Command-Delete Key shortcut for delete now works
QuickFind works when in French
File Encryption using Blowfish
Supports the Keychain
Sorting of pages
QuickFind now temporarily changes found text to red to make it more visible
Printing will now wrap the page contents according to the paper size you are printing on. No more clipping will occur.
Clear formatting command will now apply default text font and not revert to Helvetica
New "Bigger/Smaller" menu items in the Font menu with corresponding keyboard shortcuts
Using services to create a new page auto-names the page using the content being copied
Now localized in German (Thanks manfred Kanzler)!

In regard to my previous post, You should know that Macchampion responded immediately to this problem and it is no longer an issue :)

Definitely faster launching. I've been using Alepin 2.5 since it came out and the beta for a few weeks with no problems at all. I see that the 3.0 release has corrected the one (very minor) annoyance of having to reselect the password entry if it is entered incorrectly; it now remains highlighted for instant correction. The new file and application icons look a lot nicer.

MacChampion is very responsive to bug reports - these guys have it together. And a very reasonable price for something I use everyday!
