Product Description:

StreamRipperX is an application for Mac OS X that allows you to listen to Internet radio streams and record the songs as individual MP3 files.

What's new in this version:

Tested ok on OS X 10.2.4
Fixed problems resolving some station URLs - should work with all iTunes radio stations (i tested many)
Added German localisation and Italian localisation
Fixed proxy problem (fingers crossed) - takes web proxy information from your system prefs, though you can "ignore" it if you want, and specify a custom one.
Listening to iTunes - launches quicker - remember to check your firewall setting as SRX relays the radio stream over your local network
Note: The Tuner is fairly slow - be patientt

Softpedia rates StreamRipperX 1.5 as 100% CLEAN, which means it does not contain any form of malware, including spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors. 100% clean of malware,spyware,trojans,backdoors. Little Snitch did not indicate any suspicious outgoing requests for on my system. Be advised Softpedia redirected the down load the sourceforge.net. This software works well and is free.

So, no Real, no WM, no OGG, no MP3 streams! + spyware!! wtf???
and the next version gone shareware!!!
go and use VLC!

...recording streams into neatly separated songs, what IS it useful for?
Seeing as it's also spyware you better come up with a pretty good reason.
