S800 Driver breaks 10.2.6? - Version: 1.5.1, 9/22/2003 08:30PM PST

Installed 1.5.1 drivers on a 10.2.4 machine and a 10.2.6 machine.
It appears the 1.5.1 S800 driver set breaks 10.2.6 but not 10.2.4. The specific problem was causing the NSPrintInfo object to crash (for Cocoa apps) during object initialization. This occurred after the driver installation but not before. Since it's a shared class (NSPrintInfo) iPhoto, iCal,, even Safari will crash when print is selected. Does anyone else have a similar experience?

S520 - all is well

Works great with my Canon S520, even the ink levels work properly now - they didn't seem to in v1.5.
Well done software, every detail works as expected.
---
I cannot find the documentation explaining what's different, bizarre - these drivers are probably all written in Japan, manuals may be harder for them to churn out.
