Copernicus ReviewFree. Works Great. 19fps - Version: 1.5.2, 10/24/2007 07:59AM PST

Used Copernicus to capture Google Earth fly-thrus. Reported 19fps (after a few attempts). MacBook with 10.4. Was able to drag and drop resultant Quicktime movies into iMovieHD and edit. Was able to cut/paste/add using Quicktime Pro. Awesome. Free.

Copernicus CommentaryIt's Free on my machine. PPC 10.4.10 G5 - Version: 1.5.2, 9/22/2007 04:37PM PST

jettyboy_dotmac
I don't know what program you tried, but this one is certainly freeware. It never asked for anything concerning payments. No popups, no reminders, nothing. Hell it doesn't even have somewhere to donate to if you wanted to. And no I'm not the developer, or do I even know him/her/them.
Aside from that it works great for me, does exactly what it says it does.

Copernicus ReviewNot good - Version: 1.5.2, 9/14/2007 03:30PM PST

studioduck
Nothing asked for a payment on the app. I have an intel mac, the program froze up both times I tried to use it. For as far as I got, the user-interface needs an overhaul. Sorry, but if you say it works with an intel mac, it should, ya know...work. Don't get me wrong, I'd be the first to use it if you can get it right...

Copernicus ReviewIt is FREE and it Works well too. - Version: 1.5.2, 8/27/2007 09:31PM PST

Sea Mac
I haven't paid a nickel for MY COPY nor have I ever seen a nag screen or a Registration form. It's FREE if you have a PPC Dual G5 Macintosh: you JUST Download it and It works! I don't know WHO you MacIntel folks are paying $15 to because I can find NO Way to pay anyone for this. And It's never crashed on me. I dumped Snapz Pro because they want $69 for the same functions Copernicus has for Free! My thanks to the Developer: and I'd DONATE $10 to them If I could find a way to ... I've gotten $100 worth of Use from this but can only afford $10 in cash and $90 worth of Thanks ... This is one of the best presents Software Santa has ever posted for the Macintosh!

Copernicus ReviewUse SnapNDrag, IT'S Free! - Version: 1.5b1, 8/6/2004 02:38PM PST

websterphreaky
Copericus, for being a "Beta" is PAYWARE and if you use it free past the VERY short trial period it's worthless because it places a Watermark over every pic!

Beta software SHOULDN'T BE PAYWARE!!!

Use SnapNDrag, it's better, it's FREE!

Copernicus Developer NoteNew Registration - Version: 1.5b1, 7/21/2004 12:36AM PST

nwaller
The registration system in Copernicus 1.5 has been changed. All previous users of Copernicus are eligible for a free update, just email support@danicsoft.com with your name and old license code.

Codes are shorter now (only 8 letters), and don't expire after 7 days. This means that you can keep a code around, and reinstall Copernicus at a later date without having to email for a renewed code.

We hope this makes it easier for our customers.

Copernicus Developer Note'Deleting Bug' Fixed - Version: 1.5b1, 7/21/2004 12:32AM PST

nwaller
The bug that caused some unfortunate users to have files deleted has been fixed.

The problem occurred when the user set their movie or picture cache folders to a folder such as their home or desktop folder. This version of Copernicus adds two safeguards. First, it creates a cache folder within the selected folder, so none of your actual files are deleted. Secondly, it knows only to delete files that it owns.

This means that none of your files are at risk, so there is no worry in running Copernicius. This has been thoroughly tested.

I installed it today, not only would the program start to lock up when I ended the recording, but it actually DELETED everything that I had on my desktop!
