Product Description:

The VideoLAN Client (vlc) is a multi-plateform multimedia player.

It can read DVDs, VCDs, SVCDs, MPEG and DivX files. It can also read a stream from a network, sent by the VideoLAN Server or another source.

It does not support QuickTime movies (use QuickTime Player for this).

What's new in this version:

  • Linked with libdvdcss 1.2.2, which fixes the "ioctl_ReadTitleKey failed" error many users were having
  • VLC can now read AVIs created with ffmpeg
  • DVD subtitles should be readable again
